The Mighty Marty McNasty

  image
The "Marty McNAsty" bite upon my mid-left calf was about 1 inch in diameter, with its maxim reaching nearly the size of a Susan B. Anthoney Dollar coin from earlier days. The irratation from "cleansing" with alcohol irratated the skin to about half the area of my inner calf and lower leg. After its discovery, I thought it merely a rather large blood blister, acquired from my perpetual clumsy fashion. However, upon slicing it into this LEATHERY tissue...nothing happened. No blood. No water. Nothing. Just an open festering wound waiting to heal. Here it is Halloween and Marty FINALLY fell off. The shrivaled bit of dead skin is saved in a small plastic, air-tight baggie for scientific study and analysis. Fortuantely I have pitorial proof, as I find all this rather difficult to believe, myself.
